As passionate a game developer as one could hope to find, I have dedicated my life to the pursuit of innovation in video games. Though I specialise in design - having graduated from Europe's best game design degree (The Princeton Review 2015) with first-class honours - my time working independently has seen me tackle every element of game development. This, I believe, has granted me a valuable breadth of insight into the game development process.

 

After graduating and receiving the award for Best New Talent at Abertay University, in 2015 I spent a year developing numerous video game projects, including mobile game Bullet Point (2016). This time allowed me to push myself to learn new skills and hone those I already had, eventually leading to my employment as designer at Outplay Entertainment - the UK's largest independent mobile developer. I've been working there full time since September 2016, in which time I have crafted over 800 levels for Mystery Match, a match-3 puzzle game that has been downloaded over 1.5 million times, along with numerous game mechanics and features.

 

In my spare time I like to develop more experimental games, both on my own and as part of Yarn Spinner, a narrative-focused team comprised of myself and fellow Abertay graduates.
